Repose

My wife and I had a discussion about what to name this post.  She thought Handsomest Boy Ever–while true, I thought it a bit over the top.  My son turned six recently and the event really took me back.  In my mind, there may be no age more wonderful.  The power of a six year-old mind to create new worlds and travel vast distances is unrivaled.

I love being a witness to my son’s imagination.  He gets a look in his eye much like this one and I know he’s embarking on a great adventure.  Here my son had been playing with his sister when he took a short break and slipped into this pensive pose.  In his hands the two treasures he’d found during play:  a stick and a couple little flowers.  It’s a great recipe really; take two little flowers, add infinite imagination and stir with a stick–it’s delightful every time.

Christopher – this one is a capture I would call, outstanding. Its simply a eyecatcher – this boy tells so much, so much a boy of 6 years can tell in one moment! Thanks a lot for sharing :)
