Perhaps it’s my Belgian descent but there’s little I enjoy more than a truly good beer. Over the years I’ve collected Belgian ales and by the time I began courting my wife I had a special refrigeration unit filled with some hard-to-find gems. She took one look at the fridge and said, “beers are for drinking, not for storing. Let’s crack some of these babies open!” She was a keeper.
Several nights ago I took my wife on a date to a local brewery. After dinner I became fascinated by the dizzying but compelling reflections of the brewery equipment when viewed through glass. I’d like to think it was our shared appreciation for beer that allowed my wife to be so understanding of my photographic dalliance during our date. Probably, she just wisely sets the bar pretty low.

Dizzying is right! Great shot.
Thanks Christine! I hope you’re doing well–I think I read on your site that you were swamped with the new school year. Busy crazy time.
I doing well. I’m just very busy. You know that teacher you had in high school that seemed to be in charge of everything? That’s me! Things will slow down for…Christmas?
i kinda like this shot better than the 2nd one
this has more movement… dizzying heights… urmm.. can’t really find you in the picture.. that’s how dizzy i got
I agree, I like this one much better. The second one is kind of boring. It’s entirely possible that I had too much beer when I flagged it as an image to post. I’m finding as I try new things and work to escape my routine that I can really create some stinkers.
It’s all good–makes life more interesting.
I like how shiny and crisp the image is even though it is dizzying…is that you in the middle left?
=] I’m a little to the right. you can see the top of my head on the copper tank and my fingers gripping the camera if you look real hard.
