Raindrops On A Pond III

I use the word “zen” too much with respect to photographs. This is particularly true when you consider that I’m not Buddhist; I’m co-opting a cool term and misusing it to describe a tranquil scene. That said, I need some tranquility as I face the week ahead. I’ll be traveling a lot and will have a good deal of stress to contend with. This is the final shot from my rainy lunch last week. I was shooting the water’s surface hoping to catch some interesting raindrop ripples. The two primary ripple patterns hit just right and I think gave the most pleasing result. I’m going to stare at this picture for while in the hopes that it will prevent me from pulling my hair out as I face the coming days.

This is a very peaceful image. Nicely composed with the patterns of the water rippling.

Hope your week isn’t too terribly stressful.
