Ladder Illuminated

I was strolling through Saint Andrews, New Brunswick with my family when I came across a waterfront home that was painted, as far as I could see, entirely in red. Even the roof access ladder had a thick coat of red covering its weather-beaten surface. Given my penchant for lines I was taken by this scene. I like how the lines created by the wood siding almost look like rays of illuminating light that reach across the image until they eventually turn into the red ladder and wall.

That said, however, it could just be me.

A very clever red interplay of lines here.
